Q. How long will it take to receive my personalized item?

A. Please remember that we create each gift individually for you or your recipient. Some of our items take 3 to 4 weeks to personalize and cannot be expedited.

Q. How will I know when my order has been shipped?

A. You will be notified when your order ships from our offices. When available, a tracking number will be sent to you via email.

Q. Can I track my order online?

A. Most of our orders are sent via UPS or USPS. Not all of these orders can be tracked. When a tracking number is available, it will be sent to you via email in your shipping confirmation email with a link to track your order.

Q. Can I return a personalized item?

A. Cleverwares stands behind the quality of every product we sell. Understandably, personalized items cannot be accepted for return, except when there is a quality concern. If your order it is not 100% free from defects in materials and workmanship, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt credit, exchange or full refund.

Cancellations and changes must be made by 2:00 p.m. EST of the same day you place your order. To insure that your change is received, you can use the contact form on the website and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

All returns or exchanges must be made within 60 days of receipt.

Q. I made a mistake on the item I ordered. Can I get a replacement?

A. We understand that everyone makes mistakes (including us!), especially on spelling and dates! Take special care when reviewing your order. Check your spelling dates and names carefully. We are not responsible for errors that you make in your personalization.. Of course, if we made the error, we will send a replacement item at no charge to you.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. Cleverwares accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Q. Why can't I add items to the shopping cart?

A. The browser that you are using may not be set up to support Cookies, or you may have Cookies turned off.

Without Cookies enabled, you will not be able to add items to your shopping cart. "Cookies" are small text files that are placed on your computer in order to identify your shopping cart on our Web site. To enable Cookies, set your security level to medium.

Q. What happens after I place an order?

A. After you complete the checkout process, a "Thank You" page will appear which will display your online order confirmation number. This number confirms that your order has been placed successfully. We will send a copy of this online order receipt via email within one hour.

After your order has been processed at Cleverwares, we will send you a second email with your order number and order details. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by telephone or email.

Q. What if I do not receive an order confirmation via email?

A. You should receive a copy of your online order confirmation via email within an hour of placing your order. However, if you do not receive this message, please contact us to ensure that your order was received and is being processed.

Q. Can I change the delivery address?

A. We can change the delivery address as long as your order has not been shipped. To request a change, please contact us using our contact form.

Q. Is it safe to use my credit card online?

A. Yes. We encrypt all of your personal information, including your credit card number, when it is sent over the Internet using SSL (secure socket layer) technology. When your browser is in secure mode, a blue bar will appear at the top of the browser window and an unbroken key or lock icon at the bottom right corner of the window. This indicates that the transaction is secure.

Q. When will my credit card be charged?

A. We will obtain authorization for the credit card charges when we process your order. Authorization usually occurs within 24 hours after you place your order. Your credit card will actually be charged when your order is shipped. You will not be charged for backordered items until they are available for shipping. If we are unable to secure authorization, you will be contacted by a Cleverwares customer service specialist.

Q. How do I check out?

A. When you have added all the items you wish to order to your shopping cart, click on the "check out now" button at the bottom of the shopping cart page and follow the instructions.

Q. Why am I having problems ordering?

A. To order from our site, you need a SSL compliant browser and your browser preferences must be set to accept "cookies". For best results we recommend using Netscape Navigator 4.5 or later, or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. For AOL users, we recommend the 4.0 or later AOL browser for PC's or the 5.0 browser for Macs. Click on each of the browser names if you'd like to download a new version of Netscape, Internet Explorer or AOL.

Q. Why is my shopping cart empty?

A. You may not have selected a quantity for the item you wish to order. At the product page, select the product or products you wish to purchase, enter the quantity you wish to order, and click on the "Add to Cart" button on the bottom of the page. This should add the selected products to your basket.

If your product is still not showing up in your cart, your browser may not be set to accept "cookies". Our site uses cookies to keep track of the items in your shopping cart. We do not include personal or billing information in these cookies, so there is no security risk in accepting them. You may change your browser option to accept cookies in the preference menu selection for your browser.

Q. What if I have a question about a specific product?

A. Please email us using our contact form with any product questions.

Q. What are the advantages of registering?

A. Becoming a registered Cleverwares user offers you a number of benefits to make shopping with us faster, easier, and more intuitive:

You can register now or register when you place an order. You do not need to be a registered user to shop our site.

Q. What does "out of stock" mean?

A. Items that are currently unavailable for shipment are referred to as "out of stock." You may still place an order for an out of stock item and it will ship to you as soon as it becomes available. (Expected availability dates are listed with out of stock items - please remember that these are estimated dates of arrival to our warehouse.) You will not be charged for an out of stock item until the item is shipped from our warehouse. If you do not wish to place an order for an item that is out of stock, we will gladly notify you via email when the item becomes available. Simply click on the "notify me" link that appears with out of stock items and provide us with your email address.

Q. Can I place my Internet order over the phone?

A. We are sorry, but we do not accept phone orders at this time.

Q. Will you provide me with confirmation of my order when it is received?

A. After you entered an e-mail address when placing your order you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. After pressing the "Place your Order" button, a confirmation screen appears displaying the following message - Thank You for Your Order!

Q. How can I find out the status of my order?

A. You can check your order status online. Information about your order should be available 72 hours after placing your order. Or you may email your request to info@cleverwares.com

Q. How quickly can I expect to receive an answer to my e-mailed question?

A. You can expect a response in 24 - 48 hours unless you have sent your e-mail over the weekend or on a holiday.

Q. Can you ship my order to another address? Can you ship gifts directly to recipients?

A. Registered members shopping with Cleverwares.com have the option to ship merchandise to a maximum of twelve different addresses, and include a gift message with each shipment. During the checkout process, you will be given the option to select additional ship-to addresses and assign which items are shipped to each location. There is a charge of $4.98 per additional address above the normal shipping and handling charges. Customers who choose to shop as an unregistered guest can only ship to one address and do not have access to gift messaging.
